Brand Activation for UBS at the Jazz Festival Montreux

The Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the largest music festivals in the world. For more than 50 years, it has not only attracted the big stars from around the world, but also an international audience. UBS, a leading Swiss bank and one of the main event sponsors, planned a special digital on-site activation for this year. The idea was captivating and at the same time very simple: To beam the visitors onto the festival stage. With iRewind we were able to offer a video cloud solution that is quickly deployable and can implement this idea promptly. The goal: several thousand videos had to be produced automatically and delivered in real time to the inboxes of the visitors. 

The focus of the activation campaign was on the UBS video box. Visitors first had to register on site and choose their preferred sound style. Then they went into the video box which featured a specially built-in mini stage with spotlights and even a smoking system. To capture the action, three iRewind cams were installed. Once the performers were ready, a countdown indicated the start of the recording.

The performance took about two minutes. Three minutes later, the guests had their personal on-stage video of the Montreux Jazz Festival in their inbox, ready to share on any social media channel.
