ROLE
We are looking for an experienced dynamic person who wants to join our team, helping deliver high quality and automated personalized videos for iRewind customers. Ideal candidates must be available to travel to different sporting events in various countries during weekends, have an eye for detail, a passion for photo/video, and an understanding of IT infrastructures and event processes. You will work as part of the iRewind team in Bucharest and Switzerland to implement events, support the operation back-end team and the tech team to deliver the project for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Office days
- Execute overall management responsibility around client implementation
- Assess the situation and customer needs
- Liaise with other team members to understand the precise requirements for upcoming events and assign tasks to team members
- Update and coordinate with the in-house video editors and back-end operations team on specific event details
- Plan the installation and roll-out of the iRewind system at events
- Prepare the back-end and implement all digital assets for the event execution
- Prepare the necessary equipment for each project incl. inventory management
- Coordinate and pan travel arrangements
- Identify and express prospective implementation risk and mitigations
- Execute performance reviews and conduct resource management duties incl. post-event evaluation (data entry, analysis and reporting)
- Various operation tasks including software and hardware testing
Project delivery & event days
- Oversee the steady progress of multiple projects in collaboration with the Swiss management team
- Monitor multiple concurrent projects from start till end
- Track and present the progress of the projects to management
- Ensure implementation and delivery of high-quality videos
- Prepare the schedule and project guidelines
- Book and brief the event implementation team incl. looking for extra ressources
- Guarantee the proper roll-out of the system and respect of the briefing indications
- Implement directly 10-12 events per year
- Keep an eye open for the best scenery (camera placement)
- Secure, control and inspect the equipment and parameters on a regular basis
- Troubleshooting hardware issues with back-end team support
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of sport event operation experience or event operation related experience
- Basic knowledge of coding / HTML preferred
- Outstanding knowledge of Google Suite to use office functions
- Knowledge of SaaS related use for everyday work (Sendgrid, Podio, Trello)
- Enthusiastic and passionate about video and photography
- Resourcefulness and proactive
- Understand and communicate across a variety of cultures and belief systems
- Be collaborative and team-oriented
- Fluent reading, speaking and writing in english is required. Other languages are a big plus
- Self-starter that is punctual with a strong work ethic for constant self-improvement
- Ability to cope with change in a fast.pace, deadline-driven environment
