Career at iRewind

We are looking for 2-3 experienced JavaScript / Front-end developers who want to join our team delivering a great user experience for our clients. Ideal candidates can develop advanced video editing tools to our operations team. You will be working together with our engineers and product managers implementing workflows and user interfaces that will conceal the complexity of this video editing process.

3 JavaScript Developers
(JS, Vue) 80%-100%

Career level: Senior, >4 years of experience
Address: Bucharest (50% Home Office possible)
Spoken Languages: English (Romanian is a plus)

You will work as part of the iRewind team in Bucharest helping with the further development of iRewind products in the video editing sector.

Day-to-day responsibilities

– Work in one of our cross-functional teams of developers, product managers and specialists
– Develop back-end applications and services
– Integrate and/or build front-end applications to our back-end
– Apply code-creation best practices
– Collaborate with experts from different disciplines and continuously shape a better digital product for our clients and the operations team
– Test & Deploy

Based on the technology and software used at iRewind, experience in these areas is advantageous

– JavaScript – advanced level (ES6 / TypeScript experience is a plus)
– Node .js / Express – some knowledge is important
– We are running Vue .js. Expertise in this area or in JS frameworks is welcome( Vue .js of course, React, Angular, Ember .js )
– Bootstrap / jQuery – some knowledge (it’s a plus if you have worked with some other UI libraries – material design)
– Proficient in consuming REST API’s
– Understanding of HTTP and client server interactions
– Understanding of OOP and data structures
– Media queries / responsive design
– HTML/CSS/SCSS – advanced knowledge
– Webpack / Gulp – some knowledge
– NPM packages – some knowledge
– Git is our preferred collaboration tool – some knowledge
– Minimal knowledge of shell scripting
